Jill, I found your blog through your comment on mine (thanks) & agree with your assessment of needing to communicate about your art. The blog is a wonderful medium. I'm intrigued by your images, but the funny thing is this: I always look at pictures first, so had not read that they are trees. What sprang to my mind initially was they were representations of brain neurons & synapses or the veins/arteries inside the body. I especially like the colors in the images made with the mineral paints and the swirl posted on 2/6. What was the inspiration for that one?
